JoshuaSounds is the creative company of Joshua Timmer, a full time production sound mixer with years of experience that has taken him around the globe to help capture the audio needed to produce the best content. Josua Timmer is one of Chicago’s leading production sound mixer’s as evidenced by his work. Since childhood, Joshua has been recording sound. It started off with words and sounds recorded on a tape recorder. It was magical that there was a way to record the human voice, something invisible, and be able to play it back again. He still feels the magic when he records voices. Josh later began working in and owning small recording studios, recording and mixing musical talent in Chicago. This wasn’t as meaningful to him, so since 2008 he has once again found the magic by becoming a production sound mixer and is able to record voices and sounds again, which is what he originally fell in love with.
